Install the STEP app

Put STEP on your phone or computer like an app — free, no App Store needed. Follow the steps for your device.

Open the site in Safari
Use Safari, the blue compass icon. Type or open: mi-step.com

Tap the Share button
It is the square with an arrow pointing up. On iPhone it is at the bottom of the screen; on iPad it is at the top right.
Newer iPhones (iOS 26): if you do not see it, first tap the three dots at the bottom right •••

Tap “Add to Home Screen”
A list opens. Scroll down until you see “Add to Home Screen” (a square with a +) and tap it. If you do not see it, tap “Edit Actions…” at the end of the list and add it.

Tap “Add”
Keep “Open as Web App” switched on (if you see it), then tap “Add” at the top right.

Done!
The STEP icon is now on your home screen. Open it and sign in once — next time it opens your portal directly.

In Chrome it is in the address bar, at the top right (square with an arrow up).

Tap “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll down the list and tap “Add to Home Screen”.

Tap “Add”
Tap “Add”. The STEP icon appears on your home screen.

Open the site in Chrome
Open mi-step.com in Google Chrome (or Samsung Internet / Edge).

Tap “Install the app”
Tap the orange “Install the app” button on this page or on the site, then tap “Install”.

No button? Use the menu
Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right, then “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”, then “Install”.

Done!
The STEP icon is now with your apps. Open it and sign in once.

Open the site in Chrome or Edge
On Windows or Mac, open mi-step.com in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Click Install
Click “Install the app” on the site, or the install icon (a screen with an arrow) at the right end of the address bar, then “Install”.

Done!
STEP opens in its own window and gets an icon on your desktop / taskbar / Dock.

Safari on Mac: File menu → “Add to Dock”.
